UPDATE on my Grandpa

I am sorry I haven't been on in awhile. It has been a crazy couple weeks. I had wrote about my grandfather last week and we had to rush him in for bleeding in the rectum. Well it turns out that it was caused by two medicines he was on for his heart. But they did find that he does have colon cancer which was not causing the bleeding. I guess it was a good thing he started bleeding. The doctor said he almost missed it when he was doing the colonoscopy because it was so small. It is the size of a small walnut. They did a catscan and everything came out good. On Monday the are doing a full body scan to make sure it didn't spread. He will have surgery the first week of March to take out a foot of his colon. They aren't sure if he needs chemo yet but if they can get it all out and it didn't spread he won't need it. The doctor was very positive so I hope everything goes well.

aww your poor grandpa!!! its a good thing they found that!! I will keep him in my prayers!

It's a good thing they caught it right away! Now grandpa can get all the medical attention he needs to get better. He will be in my prayers!
