update on my invite dilemma and Rev. April...

well, I took my fiance to look at 2 invites yesterday that I was SURE would be fine, and they turned out to be ugly and not big enough. So, back to the drawing board! Thanks Nina and Clau2001 for the vendor suggestions...I am going to try the place in Merrick first since that is closer. And I finally met with Rev. April! We love her! She is very sweet and helpful..it seems we can add or change anything we want. And the non-religious ceremony is not a problem...actually, she is going to write up the ceremony and then email it to us, so we can see it beforehand and make any adjustments if necessary. I am very happy with our decision...actually, I am glad we made a decision!! I am having a hard time with that these days! Thank you all...now I just need to get my invitations!! whoopie!

I'm glad you liked April. She sent me the 1st draft by email within 2 days of meeting her. I'm going to call her this weekend to go over it. I like her a lot too! And, I'm glad to have a woman perform our marriage. Good luck w/ the invites.
