Update on my job woes

Just wanted to let everyone know that I decided to leave my job with severance. I can't deal with the stress anymore. Plus I feel like I will be better able to persue teaching as a career once I am done here.

Thanks to all who have listened and advised...I really appreciate it. I feel good about the decision I've made...

Good for you. Do what is best for you and enjoy the time off (and $$$).

Good for you!! Congrats!! Believe me, there is nothing worse than being miserable at a job (I was there). Enjoy your time off. I hope you find a job that makes you happy.

BDB ... congrats! I know this was a tough decision for you, but I think a weight has probably lifted off your shoulders now that you made up your mind. I know how long you've been suffering there!

Enjoy the time off , esp. with your wedding just around the corner

Thanks to all.

I actually will be working here until I am replaced, which could be anywhere from a week to a month. But I feel such relief knowing I will leave here in April, get married and go on my HM, and not have to experience the dread I know I'd feel coming back here to work.
