I am so happy that she is gaining weight. She is just perfect and beautiful and what a fighter!!!
I am glad you got to hold her a few times. I am sure it is very hard to be away from her. God Bless and I hope she is home very soon.

She is so cute! God has bless you with a gorgeous daughter. She will be in my prayers. I will pray that she will come home very soon to be with her mommy and daddy.

My cousin was born premature she weighed only 1lb 120z and she is doing great. We're actually going to celebrate her 18th birthday this December!

Hi there!!!

Your daughter's precious pictures brings back memories of my own daughter. She was born this past July weighing only 3lbs 1.8 ounces. She will be 15 weeks old this friday and she now weighs over 9 lbs. So don't worry once she starts taking milk, (if she hasn't yet) she will gain almost 1oz a day and you will look forward to asking the nurse daily how much she weighs.

Thank you everyone for your good wishes and encouraging words. I know my little angel is in great hands at the NICU unit at Stony Brook. I take one day at a time and pray for her to continue to gain the weight and grow. You guys have been a wonderful support and I really do appreciate it. As of tonight, she is almost at 1 pound 12 ounces. I held her again tonight for a few minutes and she cried when it was time to go back in her incubator. I will sleep with thoughts of her precious face and will see her again in the morning. Once again, thanks to everyone for helping, supporting and understanding.
