Update on our future home!!
Since a lot of us are around tonight:
More updates:
-we signed the contracts last night (and wrote our largest check in our lives!!)
-the appraiser contacted me and is in the process of scheduling an appointment with the homeowners via the real estate
-already contacted our title broker and they are all set, just need the signed contracts but they have already started the search
-sent back our commitment letter signed to HSBC (our rate was 6.125% FOR 30 YEAR FIXED)
-scheduled closing date of 3/7/07
-lawyers discussing STAR and trying to have the homeowner apply since we will be out of date for it
-found out there is no need for a survey through our lawyer
Almost there, once they sign, we're good to go hopefullY!
