I am not sure if everyone have read the article on Newsday that was posted here on the boards.
The groom, Earl Guce, is my future brother in law. The Best man is my FH. It was the most moving wedding that I have been to and all of us there were all just teary eyed.
While this has been a wonderful day for all us, we just receive the sad news that my new FSIL' mom passed away, hours after the ceremony. It seems as if she just hanged on long enough to see my FSIL married. I just needed to write to you about this because I am all alone now and need someone to talk to. My Fh is at work and he is also all upset about what had just happened. I wish he was here so we can console each other.
Anyway, please include in your prayers, Lynn Rushing, an incredible woman whom I was lucky enough to have met and known even for a such short time. Also please pray for a safe deployment in Iraq for FBIL.

I am So Sorry.
THoughts, Love, Hugs, Prayers to you and FH and the Families....
I just thought it was so special to do that wedding at the Hospital, knowing that Mom was able to see her daughter get married. All the preparations in the world cannot prepare you for everything, and I just find it so sweet that they just ddi away with everything to have it At the hospital, for Mom. THey must truly be a loving couple and family, and my thoughts and prayers go out to them, and best wishes for a safe return of your FBIL.
We're here if you need us.

My condolences to you and your family. I don't know if it helps, but it really was such a blessing that she was able to see her daughter get married. I know it must have meant so much to both of them. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Please feel free to vent here anytime.

Re: Update on 'what a wedding' post
Thank you so much for your post. I'm sorry to hear about your FSIL's mother. She is very lucky, although she may not feel it now. I lost my dad years ago- he never even got to meet my FH. I would have my wedding in a dumpster if it would mean that he would be there.
She will be in my prayers.
