I heard on TV that the new PS3 doesn't even play some of the older games.

FH saw it on the news, and before he ended the sentence talking about it, I said, 'no.'

He responded, 'I know.'

That was the end of that. Plus, he hardly plays video games, so he knows it would be a waste of money.

did he get it?

my FI waited on line for the xbox 360...then he sold it on ebay 2 months later for my e-ring. haha. and now he bought one again. he was definitely not waiting online for ps3...the games are getting bad reviews he says...i dunno if thats true. but for 600 bucks i would never buy one. ill stick with the ps2 and xbox haha.
hope he got one though :)

oh lord, i waited last year for hours in the rain and wind at target just to end up with a cold, but no xbox 360 for DH. i had preordered one at gamestop but they screwed me, so i was desperate. i wound up paying 800 bux for one on ebay for his xmas gift.
this year, i put my foot down. no way. he can keep on playing the xbox until i get my 800 dollars worth, which in my opinion, will take all of eternity

BUT MY FIANCE GOT ONEE!!!!!!

this is what happend, originally he was waiting at Best Buy and than a fight broke out, so the cops told everyone to steer clear and no lines were allowed to be formed, so than he went 2 miles ahead this is like 1A.M in the pouring rain to Circuit City. He was #20 and of 50 people in circuit city. He waited all night, slept outside, and so forth....and about 6 A.M herds of people just came from no where...they cut the line, chaos broke...police came...ppl got rowdy all sorts of stuff went down. FINALLY the MANAGER of Circuit City said ...i dont know who is first and who is last...seems like everyones cutting everyone everyones upset...

so the MANAGER made like 70 people write their name on a piece of paper and put it in the box, and he pulled out 12 names...and out of those 70 names one was my FIANCES!!! he was in utter shock...... so he has one now

[but i do feel bad for all the other ppl that waited all night and turns out the manager decided to do a raffle drawing ]

anyways so he COMES HOME , tells his younger brother whose 19 that he got one...his brothers whips out HIS PS3 and says he got one too!!

....so my FH decided to sell the one he got on ebay..he bought it for 650$ and it sold on ebay for 5500$

nice profit right?

OMG! My FH was saying today that he wished he had tried to get one. I told him I didn't know he wanted one so badly, and he said no, he could wait until spring to get one; he would have sold it on EBay to help pay for our wedding. AWWWWWW.

He just showed me, one person on EBAY just sold his for over $10,000! That's CRAZY!
