I like it much better in the pics without the straps.
Also, I really don't like color in the bride dress. I guess i'm traditional in the fact that I feel that it should be all white.
But the style looks good on you

What shape is the bottom layer? In some pics it looks like an a-line over a mermaid, in others it looks like a slim a-line. Can you put a crinoline under it?

I don't hate it...in fact you look amazing in that style but 2 things rang in my head......a cheap replica of a 1950's wedding dress that somebody poured pepto on, and then Julia Roberts in the RunAway Bride..sorry

My opinion - It's cute.... I don't love it. You have a great shape.... I think you can find a dress that will really be stunning on you and make people say WOW! It is cute though and if you Love it... then that is all that matters to be honest!

Oh... I didn't realize you bought it already. What a great deal though $150!!! WOW... good job. Either way you win. I think it is good for a 2nd dress if you want. I don't like it as a main one and I agree with some others that it looks very bridesmaids-ish. Your bridesmaids dresses look like they outshine this dress... you don't want that!
Another idea if you decide not to use it is to sell it. Its a Caroline Herrara so you can actually make a profit on it... and use it towards 'The' Wedding dress when you find it.

now that I see you in..I still say I dont love it...only because you have an awesome figure and it doesnt flaunt that...I think its the sheer bottom getting in the way!

I am on the fence. it is a beautiful dress but like someone else said not weddingy enough for me. If you feel great in it and love it then screw everyone else and go for it! I am sure you will still look gorgeous whether it is your typical dress or not. I totally do not blame you for buying it!! $150 is AMAZING!!! I would find a place to wear it just for that reason lol
