Anyhow, you have a great figure and are gorgeous . . . .the dress doesn't accentuate YOU and while it's a pretty dress, you can look great in something much more breathtaking.
I feel like if you ask 'what do you think?' you aren't sure. When I found my dress, I didn't need to ask anyone else, and you won't either. You however, will look great in every dress you put on!!!!

This is what I would do,
Get a good seamstress!
have her remove the whole skirt except for the topmost sheer layer.
Then add a solid layer of satin underneath the same fullness as the sheer.

wow, im really surprised by how many ppl didn't like it. you look amazing in it!!! keep it!! its very unique. and i like even the straps.
and it looks to me the bottom isnt just see through, lol. its just a sheer overlay over another normal/not see through layer. am i seeing it right?
i give it a big thumbs up! then again, ive never been a fan of your typical poofy cupcake dresses, lol.

Remove the weird straps and close the V

I'm not crazy about the original dress, but this could be a possibility as a second dress you can change into.

I'd love to see your first dress. In my honest opinion it's not my favorite, I don't like the see through bottom and I feel like the top and bottom don't really 'go' together I think you can find a much more flattering dress if you do decide to switch dresses

TOTALLY AGREE...exactly what I thought when I saw the pictures...I love the dress but the bottom just isn't right for a 2nd dress....make it more sexy!!! You have the body to!!

Honestly, if you alter the skirt to be a mermaid style it would be PERFECT! That alteration is not very difficult and is not TOO costly, so I think you should go for it!!! It would be perfect as a second dress in the mermaid style.
I think most people don't like it cause it poofs out and looks so see through - as a mermaid style, all the layers would be closer together and so it wouldn't look so sheer.
The dress is very pretty on you and as a mermaid style it would be ROCKIN. Don't sell it - alter it!!!
