I am 10.5 weeks along and had a llittle bit of brown spotting last night and again this morning. My dr wants me to come in asap for a sonogram...I am FREAKING out. Pls say a little prayer that everything goes okay for me. I know I have no control over it but I am praying that everything is fine.

never figured it out, they said that as long as it wasn't bright red blood that I shouldn't worry too much, but definately have it checked out anyway. I had an internal sonogram about a week before, but other than that we have no clue what the cause was.

I had brown and red bleeding at 12 weeks. My friend also had the same thing at about the same time. I had a doppler at home so I knew all was ok at the time and I had not lost the baby. I did go to the doc that day and he did an internal and said it was coming out of my cervix and it was probably the placenta growing and it hit a blood vessel. I would try to relax. As long as its brown (old blood) I wouldnt worry too much.

I had spotting around the same time too...turned out to be unexplained - everything turned out great.

Turns out everything is just fine! I heard the heartbeat and on the sono pic the little one was waving at me They have no idea why I was spotting but it seems to have stopped and I'm just going to take it easy the rest of the day. Thanks so much for your thoughts everyone.

I am sorry I just saw this now. I am so glad everything is ok. I was going to tell you that they say brown blood is old blood and not really something to be too concerned about. The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago, remember? I went for the sono and everything was fine.
So, the little one waved at ya?? :)))))))))
Wow, that means that my baby can wave! :))

Glad to hear everything went alright and how adorable a wave to say hey mommie im ok!! how cute!!! I had the same thing but mine was longer and my dr.'s were just dumb...Nothing was wrong with me and Im 21 weeks along now...
