And it wasn't as bad as I imagined. LOVED Shobha, and the lady that I worked with. She made me feel so comfortable, and did an amazing job!
I didn't even take any pain killers before hand LOL. I just went in and voila. And I love how my threaded eyebrows came out
I'm ready to get married and go on my honeymoon!!!

Shobha in Manhattan - the Columbus circle store. It was a great experience.
Jovi - I can't believe i did it either but it's great. I'm so excited I did it!!!

I think 1/4 of an inch is what they say. If you've only shaved before, the lady said it hurts more, but overtime it gets better. I wasn't even planning on doing it today, but the lady was so sweet that I just went w/ it LOL. I didn't even take pain killers, and even with that, there were a few times where it really really hurt, but it goes away literally in 2 seconds and then you forget it because next thing you know she's pulling something else off LOL. It did feel at times as if my skin was coming off but that honestly lasted like 2 seconds.
Here's more TMI for you LOL. The part that hurt really bad was the extra hairs she couldn't get w/ the wax, she then threaded to get me prepped for the honeymoon That hurt badddd, but again it goes away.
I honestly didn't feel uncomfortable w/ her. She was very professional and chatted w/ me the whole time and made me feel soo comfortable. I know the situation seems funky when you got your legs up in the air at 11am in the morning next to a stranger.
I'd totally recommend it lolol

One thing the place where I go does to avoid infections is that they don't 'double dip' -- which means everytime they need to get wax, they use a new stick. They also used baby powder throughout the session and then applied a cream to me after. It was wonderful!!! Give it another try, V!!!

The last time what happened was the lady who did it 'wax' my Skin!!!! I know this is TMI but Thats why im so scared... She ripped off a couple of it so after a couple of days i got the infection!!!
