hey girls.. all your prayers mean so much thank you. its great to have some one to turn to. mom is still in hospital awaiting surgery they are trying to figure out what way they want to approach. the bleed in her brain has not increased. she is stable at the moment. she failed her speech and swallow so now she is getting a peg tube. her morale is down and it is so hard to stay strong but for her i am doin all it takes. to top of all our bad luck.. went to her apt to pick up a few things to walk into find the house turned up side down. Landlord took it upon himself to move EVERYTHING tear up all the carpet and all my moms personal belongings. Ticks me off he didnt even call. and all the hand made centerpieces and all my mom made for my wedding 170 days away.. well lets just say it will be a miracle if i have them. and now with so little time left. this year should be the best year of my life and i am having nothing but heart ache. when do i get a break. I cant afford much more... my brother moved in with me for now and that is an adjustment for us all. FH is being soo supportive i just feel bad i am not in any mood to do anything but just sit by her side and hold her hand. i will keep you all updated. till then thank you and please keep praying.

WOW!!! You are definitely a VERY strong person to be dealing with all of this. Your mom is in our prayers and we are all here for you, your mom and your extended family.
These are tough times for you, especially with the holidays coming up. Keep your chin up.......be strong and everything will fall into place.
Don't worry about your wedding....it will still be perfect no matter what
Make sure you take care of yourself during this time too.......you need to be strong for your mom

im trying to be strong.. but right now im sitting here having that long cry i think i have needed to get out. all day everyone said your being so calm. little do they know the pain i have inside. they tell me they thought all was ok.
FMIL is flying in on fri. she wants to be of help. but i dont know what i need help with/

so sorry about what you are going through. btw - i don't know all the details on your mom's apartment, but a landlord cannot resort to self-help if he is having issues with a tenant. he must take legal steps to follow up with the tenant. if he decided to just storm in, then you should seek legal redress. i know that this is the last thing on your mind, but maybe when the fog settles in a little bit you can consider that.

I definatly agree. I am so sorry to hear that things are the way they are, but when things get better you should make sure that you get some sort of recourse from that dumb a$$ landlord!
