Update we're still on the market - We put our co-op on the market!!

After our wedding, FH and I are moving to NC with my mom, who owns the co-op. This is the first move any of us have done in about 28 years! For those who have sold your's (or your house), what was it like? Was it nerve-wracking, easy, difficult? We have a broker selected, but haven't signed yet since we need to do a few touch-ups before allowing anyone to see it

Our Co-Op is on the first floor and on a corner, 2-bedroom, 1 bath, living room and dining room are one large room and separate eat-in kitchen. (washers and dryers aren't allowed but there is a laundry room in the next building from mine) We had the kitchen and bath completely remodeled within the last 3 years. The 2 bedroom closets have new organizers in them with lots of storage space... we also have 1 under-stair walk in closet and another closet in the hall and an open linen closet in the bathroom. All the windows and doors are new.

Unfortunately, the price of these co-ops is high. A few have sold for well over $300k and ours will list for $320,000.

I don't pay this bill so I don't know the exact amount, but it's about $630/month.

It includes the oil for the heat, landscaping and any and all repairs needed to the outside of the buildings, etc. It also covers labor for any inside work, but you pay for the parts.

It's a done deal!!! We listed last night finally, but decided on only putting it up for $310K (yea, right, ONLY!) lol I can't wait - I really can't wait to get out of LI now!!!

Thanks - it's a good size for both of them - and I'll miss the kitchen. lol Both have been remodelled in the past 3 years.
