After our wedding, FH and I are moving to NC with my mom, who owns the co-op. This is the first move any of us have done in about 28 years! For those who have sold your's (or your house), what was it like? Was it nerve-wracking, easy, difficult? We have a broker selected, but haven't signed yet since we need to do a few touch-ups before allowing anyone to see it

Nice Co-Op.
Its unbelieveable how different the market is for co-ops in Nassau/Suffolk compared to Queens.
I will most likely be listing my Co-Op in Queens for around 285k. I have no doubt in my mind it will sell within a week or two tops. And my co-op is nice... but probably not as nice or as updated as yours.
Its amazing that co-ops in Long Island don't sell nearly as quickly... even though they are close to the same price.

So many people have said that this time last year, our co-ops weren't on the market more then 1 week... this year is much different

Strange cause sales in my co-op went up 40% in the last year. Insane demand in Bayside, Queens!
Did you try looking at a RE agent to sell it?
