Fo those who were interested - here's what it says on the website now:
'Due to an unauthorized server intrusion causing the loss of all data, the UltimateWedding.com Community and InteractiveTools are no longer available.
Although it is our hope to rebuild the UW community within the near future, our wedding tools feature has been destroyed, and therefore withdrawn indefinitely. All data that was on the community has been lost and can not be retrieved.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.'
Ugh! I kept a journal on UltimateWedding.com and I just visited the website and it says:
'Due to unexpected events, the UltimateWedding.com Community and Tools are no longer available -- we hope to rebuild the community within the near future. However, our interactive wedding tools feature has been postponed indefinitely. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please check back on Sept 9th for a new update.'
I am so upset! This was the place that I kept everything! Stories, pictures, thoughts, ideas, etc. I don't know what I am going to do. I feel soo lost without it.
I learned my lesson - I will make sure to copy it to my hard drive periodically - please bring it back!

Maybe their servers were stored near wear Katrina hit?? That might explain why you couldn't access it.

That completely *****...you would think that they could have given you some kin dof warning, like and e-mail letting you know so that you could save your info elsewhere.

I lost part of my journal too.
The site was hacked a couple of weeks back, so they didn't just pull the forums/journals down off the web.
Their forums were a great general source of information. It would be a shame if all of that is lost.

I didn't. I use a few different computers (home/work/mom's/FH's) and it was easiest to keep everything online that way I can get to it no matter where I was. There wasn't a lot of personal info (no full names/numbers/etc). Just ideas, links and a journal of this journey.
