Updated hotel info on my hall

Ok, I'm kind of ok, now, i do understand, that if they have someone in the room the night before they can't kick them out.. Totally understandable.. BUT... Check out is 11 am so why can't they have the room cleaned by 12:30??? They told me NO EARLIER THEN 4PM???!!! that's where I had the problem

my fi called our banquet manager, and he said he will do all he can to have the cleaners clean that room first to get my girls and I into the room by 12:30, he said it shouldn't be a problem.. So everything should be ok!! We'll see we can only hope for the best.. thanks for all of your help and support.

I am so sorry!!!! I would call them back and ask them if there is any way they can work with you on this situation. Sometimes you have to be a little pushy!!! I hate being that way, but it has paid off at times in the past. Good luck!!!

speak to the manager!!!!! tell them what you told us. for all the money you are spending there the least they can do is let you into the hotel room a few stinking hours early!!! and make it seem as if you are just calling to tell him how disappointed you are and that you are thinking of not staying there at all anymore. he may bend over for you backwards after that.

also - i am giving you this advice but am not great at this myself. there is no shame in that. get a gutsy friend/family member to help. you deserve it.

Don't take it from them--They should do everything possible to accommodate you! I had my reception at the Wyndham and not only did they give me 10 free rooms, not only did they let my bridal party check in early (at 9:00 in the mornig), they let any guest I had listed check in early--and I am talking about 8:00 in the morning--not noon. The hotel went out of their way to make me and my guests comfortable. I did spend tons of $$ there and got the service I expected.

You should call them and tell them exactly how you feel--or have your FH call--THe very least they an do is say 'No.'

I was told NEVER to deal with the front desk personal.
It's not that there’s anything wrong with them but a manager will be able to help you more times than not.
That is unacceptable and u should tell them that.

I would defiantly complain.
You are spending a lot of $$ on the wedding and you have OOT'ers booking there. They have made enough money off of you!
Sorry you are having a tough time. I wouldn’t put up with it.
I think that’s unprofessional and bad business.

I think you definitely have to call your banquet manager and voice this concern. It is ludicrous that they will not allow you to come in early. Tell him that while you appreciate the service you're receiving on the wedding end of it, you're not receiving nearly the same service for the hotel and that it is making you second guess your decision to go with them, blahblahblah. Believe me, you b*tch enough, they'll give you what you want.

LMAO.. but it's so true.. My Fi is calling our banquet guy tomorrow.. hopefully he can work something out with us.. I'll keep you all updated!!!!

You gotta fight for what you want, even if they don't give it you for free, they should atleast give you a major discount of some sort! I know what your catering hall costs, if you pressure them, they will come around

I would definately threaten to find another place to hold your wedding. Its a year away, so they would take it seriously.

You would think they would try to accomodate you since you are spending so much money there already. Maybe there is someone above this guy that you can speak with. If not, find another hotel and don't give them any of the business.

I had trouble with the rooms there too. I felt they should have given us a better deal since we are getting married there. We went to the Hampron Inn. We got the Suite which has two rooms and a kitchen and all my girls are coming to get ready the day of the wedding. We are checking in the day before because Im spending the night there. They are very nice and very accomodating! Check in is 11:00 I love the East Wind and have been to a lot of weddings there, but this is the one thing I dont get. Dont bother, tell them your not staying there.

when i got married there and we spent the night the next morning there was almost no one there!!!! we went to breakfast the next morning and the only ones in there for breakfast was me and my guest who decided to stay the night!!!! who is you manager?
