Updated hotel info on my hall

Ok, I'm kind of ok, now, i do understand, that if they have someone in the room the night before they can't kick them out.. Totally understandable.. BUT... Check out is 11 am so why can't they have the room cleaned by 12:30??? They told me NO EARLIER THEN 4PM???!!! that's where I had the problem

my fi called our banquet manager, and he said he will do all he can to have the cleaners clean that room first to get my girls and I into the room by 12:30, he said it shouldn't be a problem.. So everything should be ok!! We'll see we can only hope for the best.. thanks for all of your help and support.

Yes ITA with what you say. You are spending a lot of money there (the hall and the rooms too!) and they should work with you a bit. Its not right!

If that banquet manager does not work with you then you should find a different hotel!!!!

when i got married there and we spent the night the next morning there was almost no one there!!!! we went to breakfast the next morning and the only ones in there for breakfast was me and my guest who decided to stay the night!!!! who is you manager?

Mike Giangreco.. do you know him?? FI is calling him tomorrow, to tell him, if they can't give us the room an extra 3 hours, then atleast give us the room for half the price.. that is ridiculous.. and if not I am going to threaten to take my wedding else ware.. Why do I have to be inconvienced?? $20,000+ and they can't give me a break on check in time??????????

Thanks girls.. I felt like I was turning into bridezilla.. but at least I know it is wrong..

i had lou and he was great! so sweet and understanding! and being i was one of the winners from the give aways i would asume that he was or is the head person! i am not sure though! try talking to him after you talk to yours and see what happens! but i know er paid 217 for us to spend the night and we did not get into the room till 12:30 (after the wedding) dh was supposed to be there at 3 but was late! let me know how it goes! good luck!
ets that even with the money towards the recp. we did pay about 25,000 our self! so i know how you feel!

i was called the bridzilla from he** and i don't think i was that bad or wait was i ... i guess we all feel this way one time or more(wait more) but like i said in the end!!! i married my dh!!!! i am here if you need to talk and if you need to call let me know my phone is always on and i am always here to help! your not smiling yet!

I just wanted to try to appease you a little.... the hotel is a completely seperate part of the whole corporation, basically if someone is staying in that suite the night before you, they are not allowed to kick them out before checkout time because housekeeping has to clean the room up from the people before you. If noone is staying there the night before, there is absolutely no reason why you could not check in early. If you want you should call the hotel consistently days prior to your wedding, they will be able to keep you updated as to the check-in situation.

Me, too. At least your banquet manager seems reasonable. I hope he can deal with the difficult people at the hotel.

I'm so glad to be reading this thread because my fiance and I are seriously thinking of having our wedding there and now I know we have to negotiate all the room stuff right up front.

I'm glad they are being helpful now.
I understnad, but its 1 room.
I've chceked in early all the time at hotels for work.
I guess b/c its a cetain suite, they can't jsut stick you anywhere that free, so they don't want to make promises?

I'm so glad to be reading this thread because my fiance and I are seriously thinking of having our wedding there and now I know we have to negotiate all the room stuff right up front.

I wish we would have.. i could of gotten the suite thrown in..
