I bought the dresser, mirror and lingerie chest so far. Im not sure if I have room or even want anything else. I may get a night stand.
oh no amy..rooms unlimited!! i hope you have better luck there then i did/do and most other people i know did.
I have heard some horror stories, but Ive also heard great things.. Im keeping my fingers crossed. What sorts of issues did you have with them? My MIL bought all of her house furniture there and they even delivered it upstate north of Saratoga and she had no problems..

basically a lot of things were missing with the furniture, chips in the wood, and they take forever to resolve it. we are still having problems with them from when we intially got the furniture back in february. they never seem to communicate with the delivery men either, i had to write up a whole letter and fax it over with what was wrong/missing. colors are also off with pieces. we actually think the furniture was used, that's the way some of the pieces look/looked.
eta: and we were warned, my FH's aunt had problems with them too where it took months for her to get her furniture because most of the pieces were missing and she refused delivery.

OMG! Did anything go right??? Like I said I'm keeping my fingers crossed. As it is I have to wait 8 weeks for my furniture. If it comes it wrong, God help THEM!!

Thanks!! He seems better, but his tics come and go. Hes still doing it, but much less. Im hoping it goes away. My concern is I dont know what causes it. :( Thanks for asking! Oh and he doesnt have pneumonia anymore if thats what you were asking about

Congrats on the purchase. We just ordered our bedroom set too and were told it takes 12 weeks for delivery; and that was what our couch and recliner took when we ordered them, so I think 8 weeks is standard on larger items. As for difficulties, I have heard some stuff about that store, so I would try calling them in about a month to see how your order is coming along. Kind of the squeaky wheel gets greased sort of thing so if you make noise now and are proactive then they may make sure it goes right the first time.

Thanks. I believe it is Merlot. Its like a dark dark cherry. Looks much darker in person.

Well the furniture is supposed to be here Wednesday. Im going to call tomorrow and confirm. Ill let you know when everything is said and done, but so far I havent had any problems.
