Update 3-19-2008

I just got off the phone with my Aunt J in Iowa.

I was really worried she was going to come down hard on me for giving my cousins the boot from my BP.

What she told me brought back the rage I was feeling just 2 weeks ago.

While visiting my family in KS in February she had a long talk with my 2 cousins Rae and Jen and asked them why they hadn't sent measurments etc. They hemmed and hawed and told her they didn't think they coud afford it etc. The plane fare, hotel and rental cars yada yada yada.

My Aunt told them both they needed to let me know ASAP and that i wouldn't be mad, but they needed to let me know.

My Aunt always goes home for the whole month of February. She had this convo with them the 1st week of Feb. and the 3rd week, so 2 weeks had passed and they still hadn't been measured and neither one of them wanted to tell me they didn't want to come.

So basically I allieviated their problem by telling them they were stressing me out, and that they were OUT of the BP!

And they couldn't have been to hard pressed for money having booked a 2 week vacation to Crete Greece and Rome Italy in April.

Im just curious/....how did u fire them? Were you able to get intouch with them? are they mad?

I spoke to the younger of the 2 and she was ticked and shocked but didnt say much, ofcourse I got the oldests voice mail, she doesnt answer her phone for me!

HAHA that's great. My friend and I were ready to quit a wedding! We had a whole book we were going to write about the bridezilla NONSENSE! In the end neither of us did, but it would have been funny to say I quit a wedding!

I guess brides can be unreasonable too.
ALl I wanted was for them to get measured. I was paying for their dresses, how freakin hard is it to measure!

I just had to stadnd up for myself. I have since asked a dear friend who has no idea what is going an, and she was absolutely thrilled to be a part of our wedding. She got measured and order her dress yesterday!

all these spoiled @ss cousins had to do was get me their measurements and buy a ticket to get here. I was going to pay for their dresses as well as hair and make up and those good for nothing b!tches kept putting it off!
