Updated! I never thought I would have to post something like this
I am literally waiting for the last possible minute for one of my BMs to give me her size. I have everyone else's sizes and was going to go to RK during my lunch today to order the dresses through their no frills program, but I don't have the last one. I need to order these now. I told all my BMs from January that I would be ordering the last week of May and the cost of the dress, which is less than $100 (yes I'm a bargain hunter!). I never once pestered them about it. I sent them a reminder last month to get me their size and that the cost of the dress actually went down in price. I do not care about the money, I just need to get these ordered. I sent my BM a text at 10am asking her what size to order her and nothing. I don't know what to do. Do I order 5 today and just have her pay the extra for her order when she gets it to me? I thought they all had to be ordered together so they are from the same dye lot (I forget where I heard this). I don't know what to do!
Update! The poor thing has gone to so many places to get measured including dry cleaners and no one will do it for her! She's getting it done right now and then I'll be able to order! YAY!!!!

I would try calling her...if no answer...order without her. She can pay the extra fee. I don't think it should be too big of a deal with the dye lot. Good luck!!!

If it were me, I would stalk her- call her a couple times until she picks up- if she doesnt pick up- she'll have to order it separately & get the late charge- you tried-
but sorry she is doing this!

Ditto!! I had a BM who wanted to wait to see if she was preggers so the salon let her order the dress 6 months after everyone elses. it will be fine.. and if she has to pay extra..that's her fault.

how frustrating I would call her and leave a message saying you need to know ASAP ! If she doesn't respond either let her pay the extra money or you can guestimate her size, and just to be safe order a size larger so they can take it instread of a size smaller then she is and let her cover the extra alterations since she was not responsive to you in the first place

She's not forgetful and there is no reason for her to back out. I texted her earlier in the week reminding her to get measured because I'm ordering today and she replied 'Ok!' so I don't know what the deal is. Maybe she's doing it right now

I couldn't even guess her size! I'm so bad with things like that.
All you can do is call her - if she doesn't answer...leave her a voicemail with a DROP DEAD time. The drop dead time is when you go and order the dresses - let her know that once this time has come and gone - she's going to have to suck up the extra money for the fee.
Don't worry about the dye lot thing - there is only a slight chance the difference will be noticable!

Ugh, I wanted to go their during my lunch because I wanted to take a gym class afterwork. I guess I'll have to do the reverse now!

Give her one more phone call - tell her if you dont have it now - she has to pya the extra fee - and if no reply its on here - You have given many oppertunities, and SO much time - and have left a paper trail of txts and emails. So no excuse!

I wouldnt text her mom- I would try calling her and if that doesnt work, then sorry she is outta luck- you have been more than nice & given her plenty of time.

Hassle her... she'll thank you later for saving her the couple of bucks if she ends up having to order late and rush the dress. If nothing else, think about your size, compare her to you and order 2 sizes bigger than that... she'll just have to have it taken in.

I couldn't guess because I haven't seen her since October so I have no clue how much weight she could have gained or lost. I just talked to her and she's getting it done right now. She's had so many issues with places that wouldn't measure for her!
