FH & I are going to look at some houses tomorrow!!! I'm excited but nervous!!! Everything is so expensive!!!
I am soooo depressed right now!!! This was our 1st time looking at houses. We saw a total of 6 houses and out of the 6 there were 2 that we liked the best. FH loved 1 of them but his reaction was... . He wants a house with a basement, at least 2000 sq ft, at least 2 BR and to be in the 350K price range. Reality check
I don't know whether to or .
He just went home b/c he is aggravated and pissed at my sil's comment. (I was on the phone w/ her) She said we would only find a house in the ghetto for that price range. Yeah..so he left and said he'd be over later... I need to laugh b/c if I don't I will cry!!! Now I'm just rambling...anyway...house hunting SUX!!!!!!

West Chester is awesome. I cant live outside of suffolk so we will be looking around today and tomorrow just driving around.

where in Suffolk? I see so many beautiful homes in our range w/ alot of property, but FH will not go further east than where we are not. He commutes in to the city everyday

My cousin & her husband are in Spruce Pond in Holtizville, it's such a pretty area, I'm not familiar w/ the other areas... well Danfords but that's all I know in Port Jefferson

Ooh, I'd love to live in Port Jeff/Setauket area. I know that FH will probably end up working in NYC though....how long is the train ride? I grew up directly south of Port jeff in Bellport....so I too wanna stay in Suffolk!

I grew up in Port Jeff... it's an hour and a half into the city if you take the Port Jeff line. You might be better off in Ronkonkama. Its an hour if you take the express train and its Sachem SD.

Good luck. And dont think about the negatives that much. Keep your head up and keep searching! Take everything in stride. Laugh at the odd ones that you see and dream about the ones that you wish you could have!
