UPDATED!! My son is about to be visited by the tooth fairy for the first time!! He is

so happy!! He has two bottom teeth almost ready. DH told him he would get his pliers and help him along but my son wanted nothing to do with that! LOL He said 'Mom, I am dreaming that the tooth fairy will give me a hundred dollars'.

I told him keep dreaming!!!

UPDATE:
Gosh it took forever, but he came home from school yesterday with his tooth in a little plastic treasure box the nurse gives when you lose your tooth in school. He was so happy that after dinner he yanked and yanked and pulled out another!!!

So two teeth went under the pillow and I sent my DH up to take the teeth and put the money, mind you I put the teeth in a sandwich bag...he couldn't find it!! (I was all nervous but for some reason my son said, I want me teeth I don't want no money) so I am thinking....oh no he took it from under his pillow. So I go up and after intense digging under the pillow...I found it ! He was so excited this moring he came running in to our bedroom with the money!!

He is 6 will be 7 in May. I was getting a little worried because all his friends have been missing teeth for a long time and his wasn't even getting loose...but now...

My son will be 6 in a couple weeks and is dying to lose a tooth! Alot of kids in his class have already lost some. I thought that was kind of early, but I guess not.

Just curious - what's the going rate for a tooth these days? I remember we got 10 cents per tooth.

Yeah ok that what I was thinking. My girl friend gives $10 for the first tooth and then $3 a tooth....all those teeth we'll go broke

a funny story my parents tell alot

when i was little i lost a tooth and didnt tell my parents

i woke up the next and NOTHING from the fairy

the following night NOTHING

the next day i wrote the fairy a nasty letter that i didnt like her anymore for forgetting about me.

my parents found the note a couple of days later it was then i found about the tooth fairy

I hope they come out soon. It is hard when everyone is losing teeth and you have not yet. BUT- the later you get your adult teeth, the stronger they are supposed to be.
