UPDATED!! My son is about to be visited by the tooth fairy for the first time!! He is

so happy!! He has two bottom teeth almost ready. DH told him he would get his pliers and help him along but my son wanted nothing to do with that! LOL He said 'Mom, I am dreaming that the tooth fairy will give me a hundred dollars'.

I told him keep dreaming!!!

UPDATE:
Gosh it took forever, but he came home from school yesterday with his tooth in a little plastic treasure box the nurse gives when you lose your tooth in school. He was so happy that after dinner he yanked and yanked and pulled out another!!!

So two teeth went under the pillow and I sent my DH up to take the teeth and put the money, mind you I put the teeth in a sandwich bag...he couldn't find it!! (I was all nervous but for some reason my son said, I want me teeth I don't want no money) so I am thinking....oh no he took it from under his pillow. So I go up and after intense digging under the pillow...I found it ! He was so excited this moring he came running in to our bedroom with the money!!

I hope they come out soon. It is hard when everyone is losing teeth and you have not yet. BUT- the later you get your adult teeth, the stronger they are supposed to be.

Yes Victoria that is what the dentist said. He told me stop worring the longer he holds on to them the healthier his adult teeth will be. So I stopped complaining .

He said he wanted to wait to wiggle them in school because if it falls out in school the nurse gives the a little treasure box to put it in!!! Thought that was so cute!!

Your son is a sharp and funny little character !!!

My first tooth fell out in the second grade. and one of the reasons I never got braces was because I still had baby teeth at 18yrs old! They pulled a couple and I didnt want them to pull any more. But I was SUCH a late bloomer in the teeth department!

Anna I bet you have strong teeth!!! They say the longer it takes the teeth are stonger and healthier!!

was i the only person terrified of the tooth fairy????? i was so freaked out by the thought of it, i made my parents put the tooth in the mailbox, and that is where my money would be the next morning.
