UPDATED remember when I said I didn't want any more bad news?

UPDATE - Thank you so much for all of the prayers. I think they worked! It seems my dad developed a bad allergic reaction to one of the medications they put him on. They gave him antihistamines and are monitoring him - He will probably be released tonight. The swelling (where he had it) is on its way down, so they sent us home. My mom and aunt are with him now and he'll hopefully be home soon.

We won't know if he'll need to go back into the hospital tomorrow or Friday for the other procedure until sometime tomorrow. Hopefully he won't have to go through that, but we don't know.

Thank you again for all the prayers and support. I DO believe it's working. I hope this is the last scare like this. I was terrified.

Apparently no one was listening.

My dad may have to go back into the hospital tomorrow for yet another procedure. We'll know more in the morning. Hopefully it'll only be overnight, but I don't know. Ugh. This whole thing just plain s*cks. I feel so bad for him.

AS SOON AS I POSTED THIS, THE PHONE RANG. My dad was just taken to the ER.

We're on our way... PLEASE pray for him.

This is going to sound silly but I was uset & had tears in my eyes - my FH thinks i've lost my mind!!!

I completely understand what you are going through. It is not easy to plan a wedding and take care of sick people in your family. I was in the same situation....my mom was in and out of the hospital for about 8 months before my wedding. We were married on a Sunday and she was released from the hospital the Monday before. My father was also in the hospital for about 1 month, 2 months before our wedding.....keeping you our thoughts and prayers.....
