I went back to Lillette's today with my mom and sister and tried on my favorite dress from last week, along with my other top 2. I was worried that I would be torn betwen 2 or more of them, but it was no contest. The second I put on my fave from last week, that was just it. I knew. No one cried or anything, but it just looked... I don't know, 'right.' Like it was made for me.

I'm so excited! I bought my dress!

dava...its absolutely perfect...i love your taste..very sophistacated and elegant. not too much!!! its very lovely and i love the low cut dip in the back and the train is just perfect

Thanks so much for all the kind words! It's nice to finally be sure about something with this wedding - after we picked our RH, I went back and forth about it for 2 months before we put down a deposit. So it's nice to just see something, like it, and get it. It's so not a 'me' thing to do!

So, the dress is by Paloma Blanca. It's silk, and so lightweight and easy to move around in - perfect for my wedding in a garden in June. The bodice is gathered fabric with alencon lace appliques and small bugle beads for shimmer, it has a drop waist and an A-line skirt. And buttons all down the back, right down to the tip of the train!

Yay!!! Another Paloma Blanca bride!!! There are very few of us!!! My dress is also by them and it is that lucious light raw silk! mY wedding is July of this year and I'm so excited that the dress is soooooo light!!! Congrats!!! you look GORGEOUS!!!
