I am looking for a orthropedic surgeon for my 12 week old yorkie, he jumped off my daughter's bed this morning and fractured his leg. I brought him to his vet who thought at the time it was only a dislocated bone, after charging me over 400.00 I have to see a surgeon. Does anyone know of a reasonable priced one.

I take my dog to West Hills animal hospital..you can try there they have a website

they are excellent there, i dont know how much it will cost though.

i think many places have payment plans if that helps.

When my Shih Tzu was very sick I took him to the Veternary Medical center in West Islip.

Also I had signed up for VPI pet insurance before he had gotten sick (thank god b/c it was VERY expensive).
So please do yourself a favor, if you don't already have it to give VPI a call or visit them on line. It really helps.
