I am getting married 11 months and picked out my dress about 4 months ago. Which now I am not sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing... when I had my dress on all those months ago I loved it…. and thought that I found my dress the one that I always dreamed about.... the only problem is that I never that girl to dream about my wedding and really had no idea what I wanted. I have been looking at pictures of these other brides and I wonder if my dress will make me look and feel that pretty. I looked back at the pictures of me wearing my dress and I don’t think I look pretty and right there is my biggest fear, not looking and not having my FH think I look pretty...
Has anyone else felt like this.. Please tell me yes so that I know that I am crazy
UPDATE!! *** I went back to the wedding salon last night.. tried on my Amsale dress and a Monique Lhuillier dress.. and my mind was made up... I switched.. I now i happy Monique Lhuillier Dress Bride... I LOVE LOVE LOVE my dress.. no more doubts for me!!

OMG!! Trust me, you're not alone!! I JUST picked out my dress this past week and I'm feeling the same way. I tried on soooo many gowns and I loved a lot of them, but there was definitely something different about the one I chose. I just love everything about it!! I think that it's just such a scary choice for us brides...I mean we only get 1 wedding gown and most of us have dreamt of it our whole lives and to finally make the decision is definitely hard. I just wish I felt about my gown the same way I feel about FH..totally sure...
and no matter what, FH will think you're totally beautiful...you could wear a potato sack and I'm sure he would feel that way!!

i did a month or so ago. After looking at pics of myself in the right size i hated it
i ended up going back to davids and swaping out my dress for a different one and i love my dress all over again but i think just about everyone goes through the same thing at one time or another

I think its normal and that everyone does it. BUT i think you should do what i had a friend do... Make a list of the reasons WHY you love the dress. What did it make you feel like? Why was it the one you chose etc. And everytime you feel that way, read the list. Sometimes it will bring back memories and make you realize it is 'THE' one :)

I know exactly what you mean!! I ordered my dress way back in May, it was the first time i went dress shopping, and now I keep seeing all these other dresses and Im wishing I tried on more dresses....its driving me crazy!!!

Oh goodness..i had doubts believ eme...working at a bridal salon definitely didnt help. I ended up exchanging my dress for a different one that I LOVE. But believe me, I still see girls trying on gowns at the store and think..OHHH i want that one! hahaha

yep - i waited until about 11-12 month before the wedding to order my dress and i still had doubts - then the dress came in this may so i got to try it on and i felt confident about my choice again.....then i started getting wishy washy about it all over again last week i had my first fitting and i felt great in it - im very indecisive, i see so many gorgeous gowns, and i am not a believer in there is only 'one' dress that is the 'one' - i think there could be many that look great on you and that you love, but you cant look forever i feel great in it everytime i put it on, thats enough for me....i think its normal to wonder, or see other dresses you like - i love mermaid/trumpet gowns, they are the only kinds i wanted to try on - and i ended up with something totally different - so everytime i see a gown that style i

I feel the SAME way! I was just looking at more dresses online last night! It is totally normal- I am second guessing EVERYTHING about the wedding. Vendors, colors, dresses, shoes, etc. That's how I know my occasional 'cold feet' is just in my nature.

awwww..I am sure you look beautiful...I felt like this before my dress came in...I kept thinking I shouldve kept looking...I think a lot of brides do this..when my dress came in (not the sample the actual dress ) and I put it on I felt releived bc i realized I loved it...you will too i bet..when will it be here??

first of all....your 'FH' will think you are pretty no matter what...so that shouldn't be a worry for you. he would love you if you were wearing a potato sack & had your hair in a messy bun.
second of all...you didnt want to take it off when you had it on. remember that feeling. looking back on pics vs. the feeling you had when you tried it on those times can't compare. and rememebr that you will have you hair & makeup all done on the wedding day so you have to try to picture the 'whole package' (even though I know its hard)
third of all...the ONLY way to solve this is not by listening to anyone else tell you 'its ok, you will still love it...its the right dress' bc that is YOUR decision. go to the store & try it on again & make sure it still makes you want to run out of the store wearing it & never give it back. if it does, then problem solved. if not, then at least you know ur not just imagining it. there is still time to 'fix' it if you dont like the dress anymore.

By the way I felt the same way as you.. i had so many doubts so finally my mom dragged me back to 'switch' dresses and fine something else... well I ended up with my original dress lol turns out i did love it.. just had a bad case of anxiety or something
