I am getting married 11 months and picked out my dress about 4 months ago. Which now I am not sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing... when I had my dress on all those months ago I loved it…. and thought that I found my dress the one that I always dreamed about.... the only problem is that I never that girl to dream about my wedding and really had no idea what I wanted. I have been looking at pictures of these other brides and I wonder if my dress will make me look and feel that pretty. I looked back at the pictures of me wearing my dress and I don’t think I look pretty and right there is my biggest fear, not looking and not having my FH think I look pretty...
Has anyone else felt like this.. Please tell me yes so that I know that I am crazy
UPDATE!! *** I went back to the wedding salon last night.. tried on my Amsale dress and a Monique Lhuillier dress.. and my mind was made up... I switched.. I now i happy Monique Lhuillier Dress Bride... I LOVE LOVE LOVE my dress.. no more doubts for me!!

I assure you many girls start having doubts about their wedding dress. I know I have recently (I also chose mine months ago). I just try to remember what made me fall in love with it in the first place. I got the call the other day that my dress is in and I'm going to try it on tomorrow. I have a feeling that once I put it on again, there won't be a doubt in my mind. Until then, I still wonder! I think it's normal!
Your FH is going to think you look BEAUTIFUL! And I'm sure you look terrific in your dress!

I feel exactly the same way.. just yesterday i said to my FH that I didnt know if I still liked my dress. Everytime I see another picture or a magazine I start to second quess myself... but I really do think that when it comes down to it and we put it on for our fitting and the day of we will remember why we loved it!!! or at least thats what I am hoping for.

I think we all do. especially if we choose our dress really early in the planning and then later start to see other dresses we never tried on.

Yup.. I have been feeling the same way recently.....don't know what to do about. I dont know if its the fact that I am not happy with my body or my face or what!!!!

yep - i waited until about 11-12 month before the wedding to order my dress and i still had doubts - then the dress came in this may so i got to try it on and i felt confident about my choice again.....then i started getting wishy washy about it all over again last week i had my first fitting and i felt great in it - im very indecisive, i see so many gorgeous gowns, and i am not a believer in there is only 'one' dress that is the 'one' - i think there could be many that look great on you and that you love, but you cant look forever i feel great in it everytime i put it on, thats enough for me....i think its normal to wonder, or see other dresses you like - i love mermaid/trumpet gowns, they are the only kinds i wanted to try on - and i ended up with something totally different - so everytime i see a gown that style i

I think it's normal to start doubting, especially because the gown was ordered so far in advance. Can you go visit your gown? Maybe that will put your mind at ease... I saw your gown is by Amsale! Her gowns are STUNNING I'm sure you'll fall in love all over again with it. Why don't you go on Amsale's website to look at pics of your dress?

It's completely normal to have doubts. I bought my dress 2 weeks after getting engaged. I had such regrets I exchanged it for a different dress.

I am the most indecisive person ever - so yes, i have had my doubts...but when you go put it on i am sure you will remember what made you love it int he first place.....
and the fh is going to think you look beautiful in it!!!

Ditto! I just bought it last week and was already doubting it - there are sooooooo many dresses to pick from and it's hard to just find one!

don't worry. i had so many doubts until i tried my dress on this weekend and loved it all over again. when i am in my dress im estatic and then i take it off and start questioning myself. put it on as soon as it comes in and it will come back to you!

just dont compare it to girls on their wedding days, remember on our wedding day we have our hair, make up done and have the whole look. Trust me that the way i looked with my dress on at the store in the sample dress is VERY different than how i looked on my wedding day lol. The pics i had of me in my dress at the store, i had my hair down, hardly any make up on. Once you have the whole look you will look gorgeous

o man! you have no idea! I chose my dress back in June. And for the last month and half, i have been dress shopping for my other friend. And i am like, wow, i didn't see this! lol And i have been looking at all my other pics from the other dresses i tried on...But, 2 weeks ago, i went with my friend to the store i ordered my dress at, and the lady brought out my dress so my friend could see it. And i fell in love with it again!
It's hard for me, because I am the worst when it comes to decisions. I trust fh's opinion on everything. And for me not to be able to even show him and ask him is sooooo hard!
But, you loved it for a reason. I say go back and see it.

I totally have doubts about mine. Everyone keeps telling me I'm crazy but I can't help it. I know I loved my dress but I just wish I had tried on more. Part of me wants to go back and try on more just to make sure I feel better about mine.
But no matter what all of our FHs will think we look amazing! I know that for sure.

I think i am going to go back to the wedding salon and try it on again to remember how i felt.. and if i dont feel the same.. hmmm.. well i will cross that bridge if i get to it.
(ps the model wearing my dress on amsale website looks soooooo bad in it and that also put doubts in my head)

#2 once you get to put on YOUR gown once it comes in, you'll fall in love all over again and rememeber why you chose it in the first place
