UPDATE:Dress w/pics

A few weeks ago I was nervous about my dress choice and went back to the store to reconsider, but before I did I tried on the dress again and took pictures from a different angle this time.
To those girls who are nervous about your decisions....think of it this way...there must have been a reason you fell in love with the dress in the first place....don't second guess yourself.

I am not sure about the deposit--I would call and ask---does the store you left the deposit at sell the other dress? Maybe they can just switch it over.
I would go for the dress that you love, not your mother and FMIL---you are the one that is wearing it all day and it is going to be in your pictues. I personally like the Maggie one better, jmo.

get what you feel is right for you. Go back and try on the one your mom likes again. and tell them you are rethinking the dress at the salon because if they ordered it already you may be too late.
I switched my first dress with another one cause it wasnt the right one. I do like the last one the best that is very pretty on you. Good Luck

I think its a beautiful dress! But If your not feeling like a princess in it then I would try and see if you can switch it. I also agree that I like the other one better! JMO. Never go with what MOM or anyone else thinks. They have different stylyes and tastes. I love the last pic in your Album! It is stunning on You!

I am dealing wtih the same thing right now. Sometimes I look at the dress I ordered and I like it, not love it, and other times Imnot so sure. I had my heart set on this one dress, but before I commited I wanted to try on others, so when I put on the dress I ordered, everyone loved it. Then I put on the original dress and everyone loved that one. So I went with the other one because it was different, the sales woman said that not everyone could pull it off because of the style. So, that pushed me towards that one just because it was a little different and now Im feeling that its not me. I know exactly how you are feeling. I like different but at the same time, I want to feel like me! What salon did you order your dress at? I ordered from Bridal reflections in Massapequa and I was told that once a deposit was placed that the dress was mine and there was no backing out. Hope it works out for you! I had no problem commiting to my fh, the hall, the flowers, but the dress is completely different story!

I think they're both beautiful. And you look great. But, you really have to go with what make you feel llike a bride. I had a hard time with my mom, but we ultimately decided on the dress I loved. Try them on again and get the one YOU love....if you can switch it.

i think theyre both beautiful dresses.. i do however like the second one a bit better. but the only opinion who should matter is yours!! you have to buy the dress that you feel like a princess in!

THank you all for your input. I am so torn. Its been driving me crazy and really makes me angry. THe whole wedding planning process has been really difficult for me (I didn't want a big wedding and now its happening) I figured at least I'd be happy with my dress and now Im angry with myself for being a pushover.

you need to get the dress that YOU LOVE!! its YOUR wedding!! i love both dreses , they are gorgeous.. but i think your gut is telling you to get the maggie dress.

I would definitely call the store and find out about your deposit. It's your day and you need to look the way you want on your wedding day in the gown you want to be wearing!!! Good luck!

definitely call the store and ask about the deposit and how that works...but I do think that both dresses are BEAUTIFUKL... just gotta figure out which one YOU LOVE the most

Both dresses are so pretty! I do actually like the first one better, but both are lovely....plus, it doesn't matter what I think, it matters how you feel! Follow your gut!!

I do like the first one better because
- it is different
- pickups are not new anymore
- the bodice has more detail bringing the eye up toward the face.
- I really like the asymetrical look to the first one, flattering to any figure.

Ditto - the first dress is absolutely gorgeous, the second one looks like every other dress you see on almost all the girls. The only things is....you are the bride and you have to be happy on your wedding day. Good luck.
