********UPDATE******There is an abandoned baby kitten in my back yard

Original post by JulyBride728

Hey ladies, first I want to thank everyone for their concern and all the help and advice you all provided!!! I also want to thank all the ladies who FM'd me and volunteered to take the little kitty in.
I'm really sorry that I didn't have the chance to update you guys sooner, but i hardly ever get a chance to come online during the weekends (I work really late hours on the weekends).

A really good friend of mine, who's a stay at home mother, decided to take the kitty in and make it a part of her family! The kitten I believe was abandoned simply because 2 days went by and there was no sight of the mother. I did exactly what was adviced to me. I set out a bunch of really old clothes to keep the kitten warm, and I fed it. One of the girls posted that the kitty may have not been abandoned and that the mother just went hunting, but I thought the kitty would be a lot better off in a warm home rather than trying to survive on the streets regardless.

So thank you all once again ladies, and just to fill you in, little kitty has been given a name. My friend calls her Chloe.

Guys, there's an abandoned baby kitten in my back yard. It's as small as a hamster and it's punishing to survive on its own. I can't stand to see this, is there anyone who can help me out please??

I've called shelters and they all told me they couldn't help accomodate me, one says they'll take it but they would put it down and i can't see that happening.

My mom doesn't want me to bring it in the house b/c the last kitten i rescued ended up living with us and still is and she knows i'll want to keep it so i'm not allowed to bring it in the house but I cant see it punishing like this. This totally ruined my day.
Is there anyone out there that would like to adopt, or can offer any advice to me? The kitten literally looks like it's 1-2 weeks old. please help.

There is kitten milk replacer (KMR) you can get at a pet store. It is important that the kitten be fed multiple times a day and stimulated afterwards. Keeping warm with an colder area the kitten can move to. Best is to weight daily to make sure the kitten is gaining weight. FM with any questions!!

Good luck!
