If you had an updo for your trial or wedding day.....was it begun with a pony tail or in another way.....like did the stylist start with a pony tail first or use a ring a bobby pins to begin it??
Just wondering

Re: Updo question...
Look in my community album Kathleen. My MIL took pict of each stage my hair went through. I think my hair dresser just used clips to keep sections of my hair apart as she curled it.

Re: Updo question...
I haven't had a trial yet (about 2 years away ) but when i have had updos done in the past for other things, my hair was always put in a partial ponytail first. She would leave some hair all around the front, sides, and back out of the ponytail. She then used bobbypins to make curls around the ponytail and then pinned the extra pieces around it to make it look fuller and curlier

Re: Updo question...
I had both. I personally liked when they didn't start with a ponytail.
