Uplighting~!!

Do you think uplighting should match your wedding colors? My wedding is black and white with red accents but I am worried that red uplighting may look pink in photos or be too 'brothel'-esque lol. I was considering maybe blue bc it's a winter wedding and it could give the room that winter look... but all of my flowers will be red. Will this clash? Am I overthinking this? lol

Uplighting~!!

I wouldn't stress too much about that, I doubt guests will think about it. But if it does bother you, maybe do the uplighting that changes color every few seconds. I like the idea of blue for a winter wedding, thats what I want to do if the uplighting is in our budget!

I definitely overthink everything! lol... but it's my wedding and I want it to be perfect!! The uplighting that changes colors will cost me an extra $300 which seems pretty silly to me

Uplighting~!!

Yikes! I had no idea that it was that much more, forget that lol! I think the blue would be perfect for a winter wedding. With a hint of red from the centerpieces it will be gorgeous.

Uplighting~!!

The only uplighting I really like is the amber and more neutral colors. For some reason when they showed me colors at the venues I wasn't impressed. I'd go with blue though, if I was in your situation!!

Uplighting~!!

my wedding colors are buttercup yellow and saphire blue. the yello uplighting in some rooms made it look like too much the blue was fine. The white was too bright in most places that showed me white uplighting and fh and I weren't feeling the changing colors. You have to do what makes you feel comfortable if you feel comfortable with blue for winter do it. If your nervous about red coming out in a picture a differently color ask your photographer they should know how it comes out and can show you examples. We did and in a small room especially a very white small room blue makes everything including people and clothing look blue same with pink. I also think the brightness setting on the uplighting plays a huge roll. A lot of places have the brightness up too much and it becomes that over powering color that would come in a photo harshly but that you can tell your bm or whoever is controlling the uplighting I want soft.
