Uplighting at East Wind - Northampton or Southampton

Hi Ladies!!!

I am looking for past brides who were marred at East Wind's Northampton or Southampton ballroom, or, guests who have been in either of those rooms.

Brides - Was it an evening wedding? Did you do have uplighting? Did it stand out or was it hard to see because of the natural light being let into the room from the skylight? Was it worth it?

Guests - Did you notice the uplighting? Would you say it gave an awesome effect? Was it not neccessary?

I have heard someone say that it's not worth it because of the skylights, but I guess it wouldn't be true for a night wedding. (?) Honestly I would ask a dj. I'm sure you know tommy tunes and li sound are recommended vendors and I'm sure they'll be honest about the lighting.

LI Sound told me I would need 25 lights for that room and that it would cost $50 per light. Total Rip Off!!

Wow that sounds high. I'm getting mine through tommy tunes. I don't know how many lights. He just gave me a set price. (I'm in a different room and I'm only getting 3 walls as per my dj) I would shop around. EW has a lighting vendor too, but I never checked them out.
