Uplighting Colors

We are having uplighting at our reception but I havent been to many wedding with uplighting. For those that are having uplighting, are you keeping it the same color all night or changing colors?

I think we will keep that same color all night my sister did this at her wedding and it was nice b/c the uplighting highlighted the room without becoming the center of attention.

our colors are red and yellow, and we want to reflect that with lighting, but I don't think people want to be in a red room for hours on end, so we are changing it up.

It'll be one color for a while and then after dinner it'll change. Blue photographs very well. Thats an important thing to think about. Your photographer can tell you what colors you may wanna stay away from or use less...

We kept it the same golden amber color the whole night - it was a great compliment to the room without being distracting.

I think we are gonna keep the same color the whole time. We were gonna do blue since our colors are blue but i'm unsure if that's the way to go after seeing a wedding there with pink/purple uplighting.

i perfer to keep it the same all night i find it more of a formal and sophistacted look, just my opinion.

My suggestion- don't use green. It doesn't do well on most and people just wind up looking sickly

If we end up having uplightin I will keep it BLUE!!!
We love blue & its our fav color...

IF anything We may do a litle bit of Red since FH loves red too...

We will be having pink uplighting for most of the night. I do want it to change colors for like the last hour of the wedding.

we too are doing 1 color the whole night! we also will have basic lighting that is diff colors for late night dancing when ppl get crazy LOL so we figured why pay for the changing during the night!
