Hi Ladies, I am looking for some upscale invitations stores on Long Island. I've looked through Encore and Birchcraft books, but I haven't found what I am looking for. I've seen invites that I like in the city, but I was hoping to check out places on LI, because I don't feel like walking around in the cold in the city. Let me know if you know of any. Thanks!

Check Lion in the Sun on Main street in Huntington village. They have a really big selection, and they sell a lot of high end brands that I haven't seen elsewhere. Lion in the Sun

C'est Papier is an invitation company that makes upscale invites. Lion in the Sun carries them.

there is also a place called papier in huntington...they didn't have as much, but if you are in huntington you might want to check that out too. i found them to be friendly there when i was looking for my save the dates.
there use to be a place in the woodbury common shopping center as well, but i can't remember the name of it.

Lion in the sun - they carry C'est papier, Julie holcomb, Claudia calhoun etc
I used them and I am getting Julie Holcomb (letterpress) invites - I also used them for my STD's they carry all of the better brands as well as the middle of the line and the lower priced ones - they have a HUGE selection - probably the largest I have seen on the island.
They are lovely to work with and they even convinced my family to get more contemporary invites that I wanted (parents wanted very traditional ones that I didn't care for but since they are paying we had to agree)

Beacon Hill Parties in Manhasset. Ask for Wendi. They carry the most exclusive invitations and custom make invitations. She did my programs and my place cards. They were exquisite! But she is pricey!

The place in Woodbury Commons is called Noteworthy. They have some really nice stuff there. Good Luck

Proper Paper in Plainview. That is wher eI got my upscale invites. They have beautiful stuff and are wonderful to work with.
I also say take a looka t NOteworthy in WOodbury commons although I like the selection of invites in Proper Paper better.
my invites were C'est Papier (they are ont he same wavelength as Crane's and William Arthur
