So I just found out from my church that they only do rehersals on Wedn and Fridays. Normally this wouldn't really bother me even though we're having a Sunday wedding, but half of the bridal party is from MD and won't be coming up til Saturday. I'm so upset that half of my bridal party won't be there, and I'm even more freaked out that they won't know what to do the day of! We'll have the dinner Saturday night, but I'm still upset about them missing the actual rehersal. I'd ask them to come up earlier but that would mean they'd all have to rent hotel rooms for another night, and I feel really bad asking them pay another $110 in additon to the other two nights they will be staying.

dont worry everything will be fine. I have a few OOT in my bridal party but when I thought about I said wh doesnt know how to walk down the isle? I mean we have all been to weddings and we all know what to do even if we arent there for the rehersal....JMO HTH

Awww honey--I'm sorry you are upset.
I have an idea though--what if you get someone to TAPE the rehearsal and then give copies to everyone who misses it? That way, they can see what needs to be done and you won't have to worry about it the day of.

oh wow....you know what....I didn't even look into that...I know Sunday is a bit uncomfortable b/c of all the events that happens before and it makes sense to do it whitle everyone's there.
Can you make something creative like do something in your backyard or at home that mirrors the church?

Thanks for the idea! Unfortunately I'm not sure if anyone will be able to tape it, but maybe we could kind of practice it on Saturday before the dinner at the restaurant. I don't know who is more upset, me or FH

I hadn't even thought about that part of the church restrictions yet... I'm sorry it is not working out when everyone can be there. There were a few people who couldn't be there the night of my friends rehearsal in Westchester, and everything was beautiful day of the wedding. I'm sure you're wedding will work out with no problems.
It's really nice of you to wait to have the dinner until everyone can be there!
