you are wearing the dress first and honestly your dress is gorgeous and it looks amazingggg on you!
while they are similar in shape, they each have their own unique flair to them
I know its easier said than done bc I know Id be pissed too but try not to get too down about it...
your day is going to be wonderful and amazing and you are going to look FABULOUS in that dress!

honestly, i prefer your dress. it's gorgeous and you look so stunning in it and you're wearing it first.
FH's cousin (and my BM) is getting married 3 weeks after me, and i was all upset about it then i realized i'm gonna do it all FIRST and i'm gonna do it better. :)

They are very similar but I have to say - you look so ridiculously amazing in your dress, there is no way she can even compare!!!!!! Plus you are wearing it first so no one knows that hers looks similar to yours.

haha i did, but then i realized i was being stupid, plus it looks so similar! then i get a text from her asking if this was my dress and that it's 'exactly what she's looking for'

don't get so upset over it. you are wearing it first and every women is entitle to find a dress that will look gorgeous on her. you can't expect your friend to not try ona dress jut because it looks like yours. that would be selfish. your getting married 2 months before your friend. trust me when i tell you that, at that point, almost 95% of your guests will have forgotten what your dress looks like, sorry to say, but also very true. the dresses are more important for us than anyone else, and will be a vague memory to most of our guests. if you were to ask them two months later what your dress looked like they would be like its a strapless fitted dress with some flowers...don't get so worked up over ot.

Alyson - you're wearing the dress first so everyone will remember YOUR dress. She's the one who will look stupid especially if people realize her dress looks like yours.
I know it's annoying because she couldn't be original but take it as a compliment that she likes your style. Also remember that this may have been the dress that looked the best on her. There are only so many styles to go around so eventually dresses do wind up looking similar to eachother.
Cheer up - your dress is beautiful and you'll look stunning in it.

I understand that it could be upsetting.. But I have to agree with alot of the other girls.. you are wearing it first. Just gotta smile and move past it. Take it as a compliment that she thinks you have good taste!~
