So, it happened... one of my best friends (and bridesmaid) got a dress that looks identical to mine. Granted she's getting married 2 months after me, but i'm still upset. I dont' even want to talk to her or congratulate her on getting a dress... i'm that upset. This just stinks!

ITA, I would be POed if she copied me and were wearing it first. I'd still be a bit annoyed but maybe she really didn't realize they were that similar???

And didn't you customize a romona keveza dress??

Did she ever see your dress???? Not for nothing but why would SHE want to wear the same dress as you after you???? I would make sure I wasn't wearing the same look especially if my wedding was later.

Do you have pics? Maybe we can convince you you there aren't identical! Your two body types would be helpful too. Like someone else said, we all look different in dresses!

yes, she's seen the dress... even texted me the other day asking if that dress was mine! So she knows they look alike. And anney - i did customize my dress... just so happens that it looks just like a brand new lazaro!!

My dress is the one on me (obv!), the other is the lazaro (on the model)

Honestly, I think the flower embellishments are similar but even though they are both sweetheart, yours has the pleating that is really unique.

It does stink, and after hearing more of the story, I don't understand why she would want to get a dress knowing it looks like yours. I'd be pretty annoyed...I'm sorry

eta: yours is more empire where the flowers hit and the lazaro seems more natural waisted. I think both are gorgeous dresses but yours is better!!!!

it sucks - but the girls are right, at least you are wearing it first.....

it sucks that she texted you to ask if that was your dress before getting it bc it shows she knew how similar they looked.

Second... you get to wear it first!!! You know your gonna look AMAZING in it and if they look alike people are going to think she copied you since your wedding is before hers! While the dresses do look similar in the pics you have posted they def have their differences.. Your dress is GORGEOUS and you have a hot a$$ bod to put in it! Your belt is Stunning also! I know your upset but try not to let it bother you too much.. You are wearing it first!!!

I will say tho it is od that she asked you if it was your dress whe she talked to you. Maybe she loved yours so much that she wanted to have one like it.
