So, I had my bachelorette party this past weekend and now 2 girls in my bridal party and another friend are not speaking to me. Not speaking to me and will not tell me what the issue is. Did I say something? DO something? I don't know for sure. It's the month before my wedding and I'm a wreck over this. If I did something or was accused of something I want to either take responsibility or be able to defend myself if it was something misconstrued. It honestly hurts me even more because these are people that I've sacrificed and did things for. I know the only real advice I'm going to get is to talk things out or cut them out of my life. I was just wondering if anyone else has or is going to something similar. I'm crippled with sadness and anger over this.

How did your bachelorette party go? Was there any indication that these girls were upset? Have you asked them directly what the problem is?

My MOH was in a bad mood when we got to the house we stayed at, but I tried to be positive. I said something to her when we were drinking that night, which I apologized for. Now 3 people just aren't speaking to me. MOH will not say anything to me and the other 2 avoided me when I asked what the problem was. I don't get this silent treatment. It's so juvenile. Let's speak like adults and try to work this out.

I feel like weddings bring out the best in people and the worst in people. Sorry you are going through this and that your friends are behaving like 7th graders. I guess all you can do is reach out - then the ball is in their court. Personally, as I get older, I just feel like I do not have the time and/or energy to deal with other people's nonsense or neurosis.

Totally. If I did something to make someone mad or upset I don't get why they can't talk to me about it. I've cut people out of my life before, but I thought I was at a point where everyone involved was important to me. I want to make things work with these girls otherwise I wouldn't be friends with them to begin with. The silent treatment is killing me and I think they all probably know that.

Completely agree! Sorry you're going through this.

Wow! That's really extreme. I think you should ask them flat out if they are going to be in your wedding now. Seems like the MOH is the one who is upset and somehow the other girls are taking her side. Can you find out what happened from one of the girls who wasn't involved but may have heard?

Having someone be in the wedding or not isn't really my concern. It's really about the friendship. I'm obviously guilty of something and I don't think it's fair to just leave me to wonder what it is. I'm also trying to not get the other girls involved or make them take a side.

Your clue is the MOH came to the party with a chip on her shoulder and then 'poisoned' the relationships with the 3 other maids (it seems). I know you said you apologized after something said after a night out drinking, but did she accept the apology?

This! It sounds like something happened before hand that started the problem. If you've been trying to get in touch with them and they're giving you the silent treatment, maybe give them a few more days to cool off and then try and send them an email, this way you can at least put your feelings out there.
I'm sorry that you're going through this right now. I hope everything gets resolved for you :)

Thanks everyone for your insights and opinions. Sometimes getting outside perspectives of a situation helps.

This. I would say give it a few days and then text or email and say clearly there's a problem, when you're ready to talk about it let me know.

Wow! I am sorry you are going through this. I would definitely want to know as well. I think their approach is definitely childish and rather than ignoring you, they should be discussing what their issue is. I would make a phone call and see if they will speak to you if not, leave them a VM and see if they return the call. If they don't then you just have to wait and see what happens.

So weird to read this now because a cpl of hours ago one of FH GM texted him saying he doesn't know if he wants to be in the wedding anymore. I won't get into the details why on here but it is completely BS and his friend seriously needs help for what can only be described as his bipolar disorder! He all of a sudden has this huge prob with FH and all of the rest of the GM who are all friends. I feel so bad for FH and I am unbelievably pissed off at his friend! This on top of FH BROTHER saying he doesn't know if he will be in the wedding now because he doesn't have the $$ for his tux rental. So looks like we will be down 2 GM 2 months away from our wedding. So freakin' UNBELIEVABLE!!
In your situation, your BM need to come to you and tell you what is going on. You guys can't solve anything if you don't even know what you supposedly did. I hope you all can get this issue resolved. So sorry you are going through this. I hope it all works out!

Thanks, hun. I'm sorry you guys are going through this too. We already had to kick one GM out of the wedding party for something he did before a friend's wedding a month ago. This is ridic.

I had a bridesmaid drop out and 'not want to be friends anymore' for literally no reason. I asked her what went wrong and she claimed nothing. Honestly, you find out who is your friend as time goes on ESPECIALLY during your wedding. You shouldn't have to be chasing after them. If they can't be adult enough to voice their opinions/concerns or what have you after you've reached out to them, then what can you do?? Don't beat yourself up over it!!! Sorry you're going through this but it sounds like a lot of people on LIW are-- you're not alone!!

I'm glad I'm not alone. I feel better today, because I realize there's nothing I can do until everyone decides they're ready to talk or whatever. I'm just angry because I was just in one of the girls' wedding about a month ago. Despite any bs we were going through I showed up to everything for her on time, stayed till the end, smiled, never complained, and didn't stir up any drama. I feel like I deserve the same.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. It's crazy how many people stop speaking after a wedding.

Sh*t just got real. Turns out MOH is tweeting about me. Bad stuff. Can this get anymore out of hand? I want to give the other girls their space but I honestly can't even imagine what MOH told them. I want to end this. I can't handle this.

UGH! Social media bashing. I would try talking to the other girls first and then confronting your MOH.
