Upset about tiara/headpiece

I am keeping my headpiece at my mom's house wrapped in tissue paper (that it came in) and then in a plastic bag. Anyway, I went to look at it today and noticed it is starting to yellow! Is this fixable?! I am so upset. I bought it awhile ago, but stilllllll. I love this headpiece and really want to wear it Is there anyway to clean it or something to get it back to it's original silver?

Can you bring it back to the place of purchase and see what they say? That's bizaare! I just picked my headpiece up last week and am storing it at home. I wonder if it will do the same thing?!?! Mine's wrapped in bubble wrap, though. Maybe it's the tissue paper???? Good luck!

Like most silver that sits over time it starts to discolor. Try tarnex (sp?) or any silver jewelry cleaner but test it on the end first. I have to do it every summer with my silver jewelry before i wear it. I just picked some jewelry cleaner up form Walmart. No specific brand. I only said tarnex because it's a popular brand but i'm sure any will do.

I would def. try to bring it back to wherever you got it from. They should be able to clean it right up. I wouldn't trust myself doing it myself..but that's just me. Lol

I think you should take it back.. Unfortunately, there is no way to get it back to the natural color.... I can feel your frustration..

I agree with Dani, bring it back!! Or at least get a store credit and buy it closer to your fitting date or wedding date.
I'm sorry you're going through that

Thanks so much for the ideas! I think I'm going to buy the stuff to try to clean it myself, then go from there. I hope it works! How is everyone else storing theirs?
