My cousin is getting married at CB this weekend (whichever room holds the maximum because her wedding is 200+) Is there room for a dais - the bride groom and 14 person bridal party???? Let me know because they are telling her no way there is room!

Re: CB Brides - DAIS QUESTION
For 200+ guests she would either have the Davinci Room or the Normandy Room (which is the one I have). The Davinci is really big and should be able to accomodate the dais. The Normandy is much more difficult because the room itself is smaller and the area for the BP is not very big either so considering the amount of guests and a big bp then it probably wouldn't work well. In fact even the stage for the DJ is small so there isn't really any room for the greek band unless you put them on the dance floor.

Re: URGENT!!! CB Brides - DAIS QUESTION
The B&G is on a raised platform and to the right is the favor table and to the right is the cake table, I have never seen any dais table set up or where it could be set up

If it's the normandy ... I don't think there's room for the dais really. They'll be on the dancefloor. If it's in the Davinci (upstairs) that's a pretty big room I'd think you could do it.

Re: URGENT!!! CB Brides - DAIS QUESTION
I have the DaVinci and I can envision them placing the dais table and the bp table across the left side wall. But they would take up the ENTIRE wall. If they are having a band, there is obviously no place to put them. If they have a dj he can always go somewhere else. If they open the other side for her wedding, then he is stuck. It would look extremely funny to put him on the opposite side.
What we saw and loved for our dais, was the dais was on a platform. So they were raised a bit. The bp was pretty much on the floor in front of them and they ran across the front of the bride and groom. That I didn’t like at all. But the BP was only about 6 people from the chairs we saw set up.
Honestly, I don’t know how they could do it. I keep looking at the room in my head and that is a lot of people to put on that one wall.
Why doesn’t she set up the bp with their own table towards the front? That is what we are doing.
