urgent question

Hi,

FH and I NEED to plan our rehearsal dinner ASAP. We're doing the planning, and we have 5 weeks till the wedding.

I'd like to know what people are paying and the locations (you can FM me).

I'd love to get some advice. Thank you.

Re: urgent question

we had ours at Pomodorino in Hauppauge. We paid about $25-$30 a head including alcohol. GOOD LUCK (PS -- I didnt book mine until about 2 weeks before wedding!!)

Re: urgent question

Hmm...I was hoping to spend less. We could even do a brunch. And, we want a place where people can mingle.

We're having ours at Tutto Pazzo in Huntington, but we paid more. But, we're having a buffet and the sit down is less expensive.

Re: urgent question

How about Okey Dokey's? I know there very resaonable(they have packages that start at $12.95), they also do lunch & brunch, I believe. I've gone to private parties there & they always have good selections & I think their food is yummy. Plus, they have a bar, so people can hang out & mingle afterwards as well.

Re: urgent question

are you looking in nassau or suffolk. if suffolk- what parts of suffolk?

you could look into places like olive garden and bertucci's.

Re: urgent question

We had ours at a chinese restaurant!! it was a HUGE hit and most people like chinese food. WE had so much to eat, that people were taken food home!! Soda and tea were included but we had them run up a bar tab. We had 25 people and the total was $600. everyone was saying what a great idea it was, I even made favors....I took the large take-out containers and filled them with gum, life savers, and candy, then decorated them with leaves (for the fall theme!!)

What about Mim's in Roslyn? I've never been there but I think they have a lounge, so you could mingle.

Or Viva Juan's in Huntington, that place is always fun.

Re: urgent question

Friend of a Farmer in Roslyn moved to Locust Valley.

What about GW Manor? I think they have reasonable brunch prices.

Re: urgent question

Are there any country clubs in the area? Those area always nice for brunch. Google should be more helpful than me (sorry!).
