The USA side has barely anything there.. the CA side which is right over the rainbow bridge is jam packed with hotels and things to do!!

I went there and we stayed on the Canadian side, the US side really doesn't have much. We stayed in the Best Western Fireside Suites(I think that's what it's called) it was nice and they have fireplaces in all the rooms.

I third that the Canadian side has a better view. It's gorgeous. Definitely a must go place.

Re: usa side of Niagara falls

we got married on the USA side of the falls - so i'm partial to that now....(super secret wedding)..

canada has a LOT more things to do - but the view is much better on the american side.

I say that only because we've gone there the last 4 years and this year was the first time we've gone to the US side. There is NO mist on the American side - so it's much better for taking pictures. You get VERY wet on the other side....

Re: usa side of Niagara falls

i live in buffalo and was actually at the falls last week i saw a bride and the bridal party walking over to the falls omg i almost wanted to change my wedding to the falls after that.... there are a few things to do on the us side but there are a lot more on the canada side the border control is getting pretty strict on who goes over so if you do decide to go over make sure you have at least 2 forms of ID that are valid or they wikll not let you over.

the Canadian side is SOOOOOOOOO much better. The view is great on the USA side but after that theres not much else to do. When i went we stayed 4 days on the canadian side and then on the way home we stopped on the USA side to see the view there. Besides just a few short hours on the USA side theres nothing else to do. We saw the view from there, then we went to eat which even that there werent many options and then we left even earlier than expected...We thought we'd stay a whole day there but after we ate we just left

I LOVED the Falls. No matter how many times I looked at them I was always in awe. I actually do like the view from the American side better but there is lots more to do on the CA side. The US side has a casino as well as a nice park to walk through.
