using nickname in lieu of first name

not that i don't mind using my first name, but my nickname is what EVERY one calls me.

m first name is theresa, but only the IRS calls me that, so i wanted to use my nickname on the favors ... at least.

xoxo tess

we had a similar issue...

FH's name is Jonathan but only his mom and grandmother call him that. We all call him Jon...I put Jonathan on the save the dates and eparty invites and FH was suprised! I think his mom would have been upset if we used Jon.

Re: using nickname in lieu of first name

I'm having a dilemma w/nicknames as well, not for me, but for FH. His given name is James but NOBODY calls him that, not even his mother, he's Jimmy. I'm obviously putting James on the invitations, but as far as everything else, like the entrance to our reception....I don't know what to do?

go with it. We are using 'Ang & Josh' instead of Angela and Joshua.
