using the rest room in wedding dress

Ok so how are you managing to use the ladies room in your wedding dress and slip? The train of my dress is long and my slip is extremely full. I don't really want to have to take it all off so any suggestions would be great!

using the rest room in wedding dress

My sister in law had a big ball gown. Me and my best friend who was also a bridesmaid went in with her and held her dress up as she went. Wasn't easy in a small stall but we managed.

Does this work for a trumpet style dress too? My dress is tight to my thighs then flares out. I may just take my dress off and have someone hold it since it's just a zipper in the back.

Lol. I too am dreading that moment. Both my MOH's told me no worries and I'm so blessed to help them stand by my side as well as help me stand over the toilet. Lol If I'll be able to do it trust me when I say so will you.

Re: using the rest room in wedding dress

I have not tried this but I heard its easier to pee when a bride squats facing the toilet. That way you can make sure no part of the front of the dress will go in and bridesmaids can hold the other parts.

I was really worried and only went twice that day but it turned out being super easy. I had a modified Mermaid, we just lifted it up and bright it to the front and I held it as I peed sitting the normal way. So glad I didn't have to pull a Bethenny!

using the rest room in wedding dress

There's definitely a pin on Pinterest that tells you how to do it. You have to face the toilet, and have your maids, or some other brave willing participants, hold up the top of the dress. My biggest fear is of wiping!! Lol

Re: using the rest room in wedding dress

I thought about the same thing until I had read an article on what to do. And yes, there was surprisingly an article on this. It said when using the ladies room to actually face the wall and sit on the toilet back wards so the back of your dress does not touch the toilet. Of course I was hysterical laughing when I read it but you know what, it worked! I actually did that. One of my BM's walked in on my in while I was doing that and couldn't control herself laughing. Of course I was in the bridal suite when I did it but still, it was the funniest thing ever.

using the rest room in wedding dress

Ladies, I just took off my dress! It was a zip with buttons, so idk how the corset would be. But it was so easy to get off and on. Of all the things to worry about, this isn't one of them!
