So i sent my invites out in the beginning of March ( i know it's early) My RSVP is May 6th. Friday...
Today i got a wrong address from my cousin who lives two towns over from me. I gave her, her invite on palm Sunday, but a few other ppl said they still didn't get their invites that i sent out when i was at my shower and i had to resend about 10-15 more out (my shower was 4/2/11). i had all the right address.
Is anyone else having the same problem with the post office?????
Am i crazy if i call everyone who didn't RSVP after May 6th to confirm if they are coming? So i don't have any surprises.

I had the same issue and had to call all my guests who hadn't RSVP'd the week of the due date to make sure they got their invite. So annoying!!!

I had issues with RSVP's - I would say about 15 people sent them to us and we never got them!!!!
One from the town over from where the RSVP were being sent to
And people sent them back EARLY and to this day we haven't gotten them.... USPS S U C K S

That is really scary!!!!! I did have some STD's sent back due to wrong address and it took a REALLy long time to get back to me!!! I hope this doesn't happen with invites!!! AHHHH!
I think you should absolutely call people after your RSVP date if they have not responded. I plan on doing this no matter what!

i heard through the grapevine my mom had this problem with my shower invites--- and i guess the RSVP was this week--- bc she just found it out when people did not respond. and the addresses are correct!!!! maybe its the same post office it sent out too? I think i know one address was in brooklyn that never got there?

this scares me for when i have to send out the invitations..only 1 friend didnt get our std but i dont care much bout those but the invitations i will be worried about
usps get your **** together gees..meanwhile some of them or so lazy and nasty..they should do their job

I sent out my invitations two weeks ago and havent gotten any yet (besides my fam, haha). My partner said he sent his back over a week ago and i havent gotten it..this worries me!!

Just a FYI if you send Canada invitations don't bother wasting a stamp on the RSVP cards ( i put 1.32) They can't use our stamps.. My FMIL & FFIL forgot to mention that to me when i was sending invites to Canada, Portugal & Australia.
