ticket on my way to work, I was 50 feet from getting off of Sunrise Highway Service Road, and he pulled me over. He was parked on the side of the road in an undercover card. The best part is I have a PBA Card, but it is at home, since I emptied my wallet for vacation 3 weeks ago!!!
I was doing 66 in a 45, becasue I was going to be late to work, and my review is coming up so I didn't want to be late!!!

He said though that there are ton's of undercover cops out, using laser becasue of the holiday weekend.

arghhhhhhhh...that s u c k s!!! I would definatly go to court and fight it. You dont want a moving violation on your record for insurance purposes!!

That stinks, if you go to court they usually reduce it to a seatbelt or something like that.

Yeah they are usually out for holidays. You have to be carefull too where there are entrances...they sit off to the side at the entrance ramps,,,where you can't see them until it is too late.
try to fight it...although I hear that only nassau is plea bargaining now...does anyone know?

Everytime I have fought a ticket, I have lost, and I was flying down the road. I ahve fought tickets that have been b-s and have lost.
Alos I was lucky, I didn't have my seatbelt on either.

I am sorry about the ticket - that is a royal bummer. I would denintetly go to court - I went once and got a moving violation bumped down to a broken tail light. Good Luck!
