V-Day (not the one you're thinking of!)
This will be my second year performing in the Vagina Monologues and I thought I'd post on here to see if any of you girls would be interested in attending! I had a lot of fun performing. The whole show is a blast. It will make you laugh, cry, and everything in between.
The purpose of V-Day is to stop violence against women and girls. The one I'm performing in is also benefiting the Anti-Violence Project of Long Island (AVP-LI) which confronts violence committed against gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender (GLBT) and HIV-Positive people of all ages. The project serves survivors of hate motivated violence (including HIV-motivated violence), domestic violence and sexual assault.
The performance is taking place on Saturday, February 27th at The Boulton Center for Performing Arts, 37 West Main Street, Bay Shore, NY. Performances are at 2pm & 7pm.
Ticket prices are as follows:
General Admission:
Adult - $20
Youth and Seniors - $15
After-party tickets (9-11pm) - $15
VIP seating - $30
VIP seat + after party - $40
