V&S03 I have a question for you

Hi: I have an appointment at MAC counter tomorrow in Macy's Manhasset for a makeover for my e-party. I was supposed to go to Clinique in the Macy's in Douglaston, but they screwed me over!
Anyway, my question is, did you tip the person at the Clinique counter? If so, how much (of you don't mind me asking)

I went to the Clinique counter in Macy*s in Manhasset, their really nice there, you should check them out also. Anyway, I didn't tip her but I did purchase something. In my experience with going to makeup trials, all of the girls wouldn't take a tip from me, you could definitely offer but I'm not sure they will take it.

Thanks!! In order to get the makeover I have to buy $50 worth of Mac makeup. So I'll just see how it goes tomorrow and if she does a really great job I'll try to tip her.

I can't believe you have to spend that much for the trial, I didn't have that problem at all when I went for my trials. They didn't accept my tips and they didn't ask me to buy anything. Well I hope they do a good job, let me know how it goes.

The girl at the Mac counter said that they give Brides free makeovers because there's a chance that the bride will book them for their wedding. But for a regular makeover you need to spend $50. I just got back from the makeover and I really like it. I ended up spending $81 though

No I didn't book her yet because my wedding isn't until May of 2004. And I want to try the makeup artist at the salon where I'll get my hair done for the wedding (the salon is 2 blocks away).
