Vacation Ideas

Any suggestions for non-beach vacations? We are doing that in November and want to do something else.

When do you want to go?

Europe is soooo cheap right now! You can go there for the same price as a trip to Florida in some cases.

If you are going in the summer, you could do Seattle/Vancouver. Or maybe rent a car and drive up the west coast on Highway 1?

Montreal!!!
FI and I went last summer. Had a BLAST!!
Plus if you want you can drive, and it's like going to a whole new world.

I've always wanted to see Montreal. My dad had business associates up there and used to visit often. Of all his travels, he put Montreal at the top of his list.

Vancouver is a great city...totally metropolitan, has it's trendy areas, great restaurants, and the most amazing, spectacular natural beauty within minutes of the city.

The American dollar is still pretty strong in Canada, you should be able to get some good deals.

I saw ads for special airfares to Ireland on Aer Lingus. Ireland is a wonderful destination-I found the people extremely hospitable and welcoming to tourists...something not common these days.

Hope this gives you some ideas!!
